Technicote, Inc., is celebrating its 14th year of The Dirk J. Desanzo Scholarship Fund, which has awarded over 40 scholarships since its launch in 2006.

Throughout his life, Desanzo encouraged people to learn, to grow personally and use the knowledge and hard work that they invested to build a great company, which is the legacy that all Technicote employees share with him.

The scholarship fund awards $1,000 to each awardee, repeating for three years if the recipient achieves the equivalent of a 2.8 GPA. 2019 recipients included parents working across sales and multiple plants.

“I am very proud of my daughter when we heard the announcement that she had received the scholarship. I am very blessed to be part of the Technicote family, who has provided this opportunity to support my daughter’s education and future. I know that my daughter will aspire to help others and give back just as Technicote did,” says Cher Lor, whose child was a 2019 scholarship recipient.
